Note: You cannot renew books online that are already overdue or books that have been requested by another client. If the book is overdue, please request a renewal at any library.

Renewals may be requested at any of the libraries by using one of the following methods:
Maximum renewal period
Library material may be renewed twice within the maximum renewal period unless requested by another client. Once the maximum renewal period has been reached, the material must be returned to the library.
Returns
To Client Service at the Stellenbosch University Library or the lending desk of any of the branch libraries. It is possible to return books by putting them in the drop boxes at the libraries’ entrances.
