The primary purpose of the e-classroom in the
Learning Commons of the Stellenbosch University Library is
for use as a client training facility by library staff during
library hours.
As from the second term of each year, the e-classroom is available free of charge for group bookings by SU staff on certain conditions.

Seminar rooms (group discussions) and a Virtual meeting room (single users wishing to hold individual online meetings) in the Carnegie Research Commons of the Stellenbosch University Library are available free of charge for bookings by students at masters and doctoral level as well as academic staff and researchers of Stellenbosch University. These rooms are available Monday-Friday from 08:00-16:00.

The meeting room 2058 in the Stellenbosch University Library is available free of charge for SU academic and administrative staff, as well as by societies registered with the Students' Representative Council during
library hours.
Due to the primary purpose of this room, full day bookings are discouraged. The room has seating for 20 people. |

The meeting room 1064 in the Stellenbosch University Library, Special Collections is available (Monday-Friday 8:30-16:15) free of charge for group bookings by SU students, staff and visitors. Meetings for small groups (workshops) of 10-12 students groups using examples of Special Collections material. |

The auditorium in the Stellenbosch University Library has seating for 147 people. Academic and administrative staff of Stellenbosch University as well as societies registered with the Students' Representative Council may use the auditorium free of charge from 08:00-16:00 during weekdays. |

A video conference service enables postgraduate students and researchers to cooperate with peers at other organisations, nationally and internationally. SU Academic and administrative staff may use the video conference room free of charge during
library hours.
The room has seating for 13 people; and 10 people on a long bench.

The Polycom video conference equipment includes voice recognition, a projector with two speakers, three 2m x 1.2m display screens, a 4m display screen, touchscreen functionality and built-in power docks on 8 tables for

A listening room and a seminar room in the Music Library are available free of charge to staff and students of the Music Department and Africa Open
