School learner guideSchool learner guide

The University’s commitment to community service is supported through service delivery to school learners providing this does not conflict with the primary responsibility to the students, lecturers and other staff of the University. Therefore, it is necessary to structure the use of the Library Service’s resources and facilities by learners. The goal of this structured service to learners is to introduce future students to a major academic library while they are still at school and thereby to promote information literacy.

Access

Learners accompanied by their parents or an adult may visit the library free of charge during library hours.
