New workshop: Tools and applications for research                                                                                                                      Sien Afrikaans onder


A brand new Library workshop will be presented for the first time on Tuesday 19 May. This workshop will offer a look at some of the top tools and applications for postgraduate students and researchers. It will cover a variety of mobile apps for research, productivity, reading, writing, presenting, note-taking, file sharing and other essential tools for studying and publishing on the go. Some of the examples that will be covered is Evernote, Dropbox, GoogleDrive, Notability and Tableau.


The target audience for the workshop is postgraduate students and researchers. The workshop will assist them in finding tools and applications to help them with their research and with choosing between the best tools and applications to boost your research productivity.

Nuwe werkswinkel: Hulpmiddele en toepassings vir navorsing                                                                                                                
'n Nuwe werkswinkel word vir die eerste keer aangebied op Dinsdag 19 Mei. Hierdie werkswinkel sal 'n oorsig bied oor sommige van die belangrikste hulpmiddele en toepassings vir die gebruik deur nagraadse studente en navorsers. 'n Verskeidenheid toepassings vir navorsing, produktiwiteit, lees, skryf, aanbiedings, notasneem, die deel van lêers en ander belangrike hulpmiddele vir studie sal demonstreer word. Voorbeelde van toepassings wat ingesluit sal word is Evernote, Dropbox, Google Drive, Notability en Tableau.


Die teikengehoor vir die werkswinkel is nagraadse studente en navorsers. Die werkswinkel sal hulle help om geskikte hulpmiddele en toepassings te vind om hul te help met hul navorsing en ook help om te kies watter beste toepassings gebruik kan word om hul navorsingsproduktiwiteit te bevorder.
