Off-campus e-access
All electronic resources offered by the Library and Information Service via our
library homepage are available from home, office computers, laptops or mobile phones. Use your SU network username and password to sign in. See

Print, copy & scan
Staff and students are able to print, copy and scan at any secure pull print printer available in the libraries by using your student/staff card. You are also able to print, copy or scan by using your student/staff card at
Maties Copy & Print Shop that is situated in the
Neelsie Student Centre. See

Interlibrary loans
Material not available in any of the libraries of the Library and Information Service may be borrowed from other libraries. See

Off-campus document delivery
Library material can be sent to students not residing on campus and who are prepared to pay for the service. See

- Frequently used items
- Only available to SU students and staff
- Number of items: 3
- Loan period during library hours for use in the library: 3 hours
- Loan period when the library is closed: overnight (out 30 min before closing; back 30 min after opening)
- Fines for late returns: R10.00 per hour after a grace period of 30 min
