member universities, in partnership with United Nations Youth Leadership
Development Program (UNYLDP), launched its first pilot programme, ‘Climate x’,
Leadership Training Pilot. From over 500 entries, 15 Stellenbosch University
students, representing various departments across SU, were chosen to form part
of the first cohort of the GAUC Global Youth
Ambassadors 2022, along with 130 other global students. Meet
and greet them, hear their story and find out how these students became
involved in a global challenge to address climate issues and other sustainable
