| 1. IT | | You said… | We're Acting… | Greatest need: Making e-resources accessible from my home or office | - Investigating where challenges exist for you to access e-resources off-campus.
- Will provide tools to improve accessibility.
| Postgrad's said: Ease of using personal devices to access e-resources needs attention | - Determining what device-specific problems you experience in order to enhance your use of personal devices to access e-resources.
| Wifi connectivity is insufficient and problematic | - Assessing the existing wifi capacity and the problems.
- Ensuring the speedy implementation of wifi.
| Logging-in and pc's are too slow; & there are insufficient pc's | - The logging-in and 'slow pc' problems experienced during July-August 2016, when the survey was conducted, have been resolved.
- Pursuing a mobile strategy rather than investing in desktop computers.

2. Collections & information resources | | You said… | We're Acting…/ have Acted… | | Print &/or e-journal collections you require for your work could be improved | - Investigating the short-term rental/lease options for journal articles and (chapters in) books and will make recommendations.
- Investigating practical aspects of unbundling e-journal packages and will make recommendations for 2018 subscriptions.
- Have communicated to the Deans how the library materials budget has been spent and how it is planned to be spent for 2017. Regular evaluation and subsequent cancellation of subscriptions are required and are in line with best practice internationally.
- Will proactively encourage feedback from you, our users.
| | 3. Re-purposing spaces | | You said… | We're Acting… | Academics said: Space for group learning and group study requires attention | - Making it easier to book a room by redesigning the room booking webpage.
- Marketing the group study areas to improve the occupancy rate.
| | The library is too noisy | - An assessment of 'silent' and 'noisy' work spaces is to be incorporated with the library space re-vamp/refurbishment. It includes branch libraries.
