Welcome to the Library's new website! The Library and Information Service has listened to your needs and is 'over the moon' to launch its new website with a fresh 'look and feel'. How is the website different? Will I be able to find what I am needing more easily? Can I access the website from my mobile device? These are some of the questions you are sure to be pondering. The Library and Information Service is excited about the new page layout, style and modified navigation of its new homepage. Yes, you will be able to access and use the website more effectively as the usability of the site has been improved. The findings of the Web Usability study, conducted by the Library in 2014, have been taken into account. Yes, the website is mobile responsive. The Library has ensured it is keeping-up with the latest trends and best practices for website access and usability. To further meet user needs, the website has been redesigned to more intuitively and clearly distinguish between common academic services and the more specialised services for postgraduates and researchers. The new website is an upgrade to the SharePoint 2016 platform which keeps the Library at the forefront with the latest website technology. Enjoy browsing and using the new website! |
