If a book or article that you are looking for is not available in one of the Stellenbosch University libraries, you can request it from another library in South Africa.

In order to do this directly on the Magnet system, you should first request a username and password from the Interlending Section or your interlending librarian.

Once you have your username and password, follow the simple instructions on the Library Service's webpage at: http://www.sun.ac.za/Library/eng/services/magnet_user_interface.html

The most advantageous aspect of doing-it-yourself is that it saves you time by reducing visits to the Library and it eliminates the tedious task of completing request forms.
