Discussion rooms and a Virtual meeting room in the Learning Commons of the Stellenbosch University Library are available free of charge for group bookings by SU students and staff during library hours.

STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY LIBRARY: Learning Commons E-classroom

The primary purpose of the e-classroom in the Learning Commons of the Stellenbosch University Library is for use as a client training facility by library staff during library hours. As from the second term of each year, the e-classroom is available free of charge for group bookings by SU staff on certain conditions.
Equipment	Two overhead data projector; lectern and computer with connection for a laptop; 48 computers (with SU campus licensed software). See Wireless access.

The discussion table in the Stellenbosch University Library Makerspace is available free of charge for group bookings by SU Students and academic staff of Stellenbosch University during the Makerspace opening hours.

STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY LIBRARY: Carnegie Research Commons - Seminar and Vitual meeting rooms

Seminar rooms (group discussions) and a Virtual meeting room (single users wishing to hold individual online meetings) in the Carnegie Research Commons of the Stellenbosch University Library are available free of charge for bookings by students at masters and doctoral level as well as academic staff and researchers of Stellenbosch University. These rooms are available Monday-Friday from 08:00-16:00.

STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY LIBRARY: Meeting room

The meeting room 2058 in the Stellenbosch University Library is available free of charge for SU academic and administrative staff, as well as by societies registered with the Students' Representative Council during library hours. Due to the primary purpose of this room, full day bookings are discouraged. The room has seating for 20 people.

STELLENBOSCH UNIVERSITY LIBRARY: Special Collections Meeting room

The meeting room 1064 in the Stellenbosch University Library, Special Collections is available (Monday-Friday 8:30-16:15) free of charge for group bookings by SU students, staff and visitors. Meetings for small groups (workshops) of 10-12 students groups using examples of Special Collections material.

The auditorium in the Stellenbosch University Library has seating for 147 people. Academic and administrative staff of Stellenbosch University as well as societies registered with the Students' Representative Council may use the auditorium free of charge from 08:00-16:00 during weekdays.
Equipment	Overhead data projector; a lectern, a computer, and connection for e-devices (BYOD). See Wireless access. Please note the auditorium is not suited for the hosting of hybrid or remote events, such as online conferences combined with in-person.

MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY: Digital Commons and E-classroom

The Digital Commons and E-classroom in the Medicine and Health Sciences Library is a learning space for students. The primary purpose of the e-classroom is for use as a client training facility by library staff during library hours. As from the second term of each year, the Digital Commons and E-classroom are available free of charge for group bookings by SU staff on certain conditions.
Equipment	Overhead data projector; a lectern with connection for a laptop; 38 computers (with SU campus licensed software). There is 6 study booths (seating for 4 persons at each booth), a plasma screen and connection for e-devices (BYOD). See Wireless access.
Bookings	Book via your faculty librarian at the Medicine and Health Sciences Library.

MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY: Teleconference seminar room

A teleconference seminar room in the Research Commons of the Medicine and Health Sciences Library is available free of charge for group bookings by SU students and staff. Students at masters and doctoral level as well as academic staff and SU researchers may use the room during library hours.

A video conference service enables postgraduate students and researchers to cooperate with peers at other organisations, nationally and internationally. SU Academic and administrative staff may use the video conference room free of charge during library hours. The room has seating for 13 people; and 10 people on a long bench.
Equipment	The Polycom video conference equipment includes voice recognition, a projector with two speakers, three 2m x 1.2m display screens, a 4m display screen, touchscreen functionality and built-in power docks on 8 tables for connection for e-devices (BYOD). See Wireless access.

MUSIC LIBRARY: Listening and Seminar room

A listening room and a seminar room in the Music Library are available free of charge to staff and students of the Music Department and Africa Open during the Music Library opening hours.
Equipment	The listening room has seating for 16 people and are fully equipped as a listening room. The seminar room has seating for 10 people and is equipped with a projector, TV-monitor, video- and DVD player.

Die hoofdoel van die e-klaskamer in die Leersentrum van die Universiteit Stellenbosch Biblioteek is om deur biblioteekpersoneel as 'n kliënte-opleidingsfasiliteit gebruik te word gedurende biblioteek ure. Vanaf die tweede kwartaal van elke jaar is die e-klaskamer gratis beskikbaar vir groepbesprekings deur US-personeel onder sekere voorwaardes.
Toerusting	Twee oorhoofse dataprojektors; 'n aanbiederslessenaar en rekenaar vir die fasiliteerder/dosent asook koppeling vir 'n skootrekenaar is beskikbaar; 48 rekenaars (met die relevante US-kampuslisensiesagteware). Sien Koordlose toegang.

Die Vergaderlokaal 2058 in die Universiteit Stellenbosch Biblioteek is gratis beskikbaar gedurende biblioteek ure vir gebruik deur US-akademiese en -administratiewe personeel asook verenigings wat by die Studenteraad geregistreer is. Weens die primêre doel van die lokaal word voldag besprekings ontmoedig. Die lokaal het sitplek vir 20 persone.

Die Vergaderlokaal 1064 in die Universiteit Stellenbosch Biblioteek, Spesiale Versamelings is beskikbaar (Maandag-Vrydag 8:30-16:15) vir groepbesprekings deur US-studente en -personeel sowel as besoekers. Vergaderings vir klein groepe (werkswinkels) van 10-12 studente groepe wat voorbeelde van Spesiale Versamelings materiaal gebruik.

Die ouditorium in die Universiteit Stellenbosch Biblioteek het sitplek vir 147 mense. Akademiese en administratiewe personeel van die Universiteit Stellenbosch asook verenigings wat by die Studenteraad geregistreer is, mag gratis van die ouditorium gebruik maak vanaf Maandag-Vrydag tussen 08:30-16:00.
Toerusting	Oorhoofse data-projektor, 'n podium, 'n US-rekenaar, en koppeling vir e-toestelle (BYOD). Sien Koordlose toegang. Neem kennis dat die ouditorium nie geskik is vir die aanbieding van hibriede of afstandsgeleenthede, soos aanlyn konferensies gekombineer met persoonlike bywoning nie.

Die Digitale Ruimte en E-klaskamer van die Geneeskunde en Gesondheidswetenskappe Biblioteek is ‘n leerarea vir studente. 'n Telekonferensie seminaarkamer in die Navorsingsruimte van die Geneeskunde en Gesondheidswetenskappe Biblioteek is gratis beskikbaar vir groepbesprekings deur magister- en doktorale studente asook akademiese en administratiewe personeel gedurende biblioteek ure.

GENEESKUNDE & GESONDHEIDSWETENSKAPPE BIBLIOTEEK: Videokonferensiekamer

'n Gratis videokonferensiediens maak dit vir nagraadse studente en navorsers van die Universiteit Stellenbosch moontlik om met eweknieë by ander organisasies, nasionaal en internasionaal, saam te werk. Akademiese en administratiewe personeel mag die videokonferensiekamer gratis gebruik gedurende biblioteek ure.
Toerusting	Die kamer het sitplek vir 13 mense en sitplek vir ongeveer 10 mense op 'n lang bank. Die Polycom-videokonferensietoerusting sluit die volgende in: stemherkenning, ’n projektor met twee luidsprekers, drie 2m X 1.2m vertoonskerms langs mekaar, een 4m vertoonskerm, raakskermfunksionaliteit en ingeboude kragpunte op 8 tafels met koppeling vir e-toestelle (BYOD). MUSIEKBIBLIOTEEK: Luister- en Seminaarkamer

Die luisterkamer en seminaarkamer in die Musiekbiblioteek is gratis beskikbaar aan personeel en studente van die Departement Musiek en Africa Open en is geskik vir groepsbeluistering gedurende biblioteek ure.
Toerusting	Die luisterkamer het sitplek vir 16 persone en is ten volle toegerus vir beluistering. Die seminaarkamer het sitplek vir 10 persone en is toegerus met ‘n projektor, TV-skerm, video- en DVD-speler.
