LIBRARY RESEARCH WEEK
The Library and Information Service will
be presenting its second Library Research Week this year from 4 – 8
August 2014. The aim of the event is to develop skills and knowledge of
emerging Stellenbosch University researchers and students and to equip
them with the necessary SMARTs to guide them on their research path.
This year we are also presenting a competition. The focus of the final
day of Library Research Week 2014 will be CONTROL IT!: tools and
applications to manage your research. We invite all students and
researchers to share with us innovative tools and applications they use
to manage any aspect or aspects of their research. Submit a short
description or presentation on your tool(s) or application(s) of choice
and how it benefits research management and stand a chance to win an
Apple iPad. More information on the competition is available on the
Library website.
