AI Disclaimer Statement for the Licensed Subscriptions
SU staff, students, post-doctoral fellows, contract workers and visiting lecturers or consultants acknowledge they are responsible for ensuring that they do not use any of the subscription e-resources for the purposes of machine learning, algorithmic development, testing or enhancing, or any other artificial intelligence (AI) purposes, except where the data of the subscription resources is used locally only in a self-hosted environment, the data processed is not shared with unauthorised third parties, and the related terms and conditions permit use for these purposes.
SU will not be held liable for any infringements of any third-party copyright material, to this extent, you indemnify SU, its staff and affiliates of any claims whatsoever which arise because of unauthorized or improper use of AI tools.
