| The Library and Information Service is pleased to let you know that we have arranged campus-wide trial access to the HS Talks Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection until the end of June 2021. The Biomedical & Life Sciences Collection contains over 2 700 specially commissioned, animated, seminar-style talks, presented by leading world experts including Nobel, Lasker and Breakthrough prize winners. Each talk is produced especially for the collection, is typically 30-50 minutes long, and combines multimedia presentation of data and illustrations synchronised with the lecture narration. Every talk includes printable slide handouts, a transcript and a simple tool for lecturers to embed complete talks or segments of talks in virtual learning systems and other course materials. Lecturers are encouraged to test the resource and to complete the evaluation form in order to provide feedback to the Library.
