The popular Research Commons Social Hours
started again in May 2014 with a talk by Dr Nox Makunga. The title of
her talk was From rural lands to wine lands ... a personal account of
a medicinal plant scientist. The event was well attended and her
talk generated lively discussions.
The next Social Hour will take place
during Library Research Week on Friday, 8 August where Prof Linus Opara (Faculty of AgriSciences)
will present a talk on Building a multi-disciplinary research career
– experiences of an engineer among agriculturists.
