This workshop will introduce you to Mendeley, a free tool focusing mainly on reference management.
Mendeley offers various services, including reference management, organising and annotation of PDF documents and collaboration.

Outcomes:
  • Ability to use Mendeley for reference management
  • Ability to do in-text citations with the Mendeley Word plug-in
  • Learn how to organise and annotate your pdf documents in Mendeley
  • Collaborate and network with fellow students and colleagues

Sage Research Methods Online

This session will give you a solid introduction to SAGE Research Methods, a database dedicated to research methods across a range of subject areas. SAGE Research Methods can be your guide in overcoming common research challenges – whether you want to conduct more effective literature reviews, construct a manageable research question, learn how to prepare data ready for analysis, disseminate your research more widely, or understand challenging research methods terminology. The last 20-30 minutes will be a Question & Answer session, so please come prepared!
