Note: You cannot renew books online that are already overdue or books that have been requested by another client. If the book is overdue, please request a renewal at any library. 

Renewal requests

 Renewals may be requested at any of the libraries by using one of the following methods:

Maximum renewal period

Library material may be renewed twice within the maximum renewal period unless requested by another client. Once the maximum renewal period has been reached, the material must be returned to the library.

Returns

To Client Service at the Stellenbosch University Library or the lending desk of any of the branch libraries. It is possible to return books by putting them in the drop boxes at the libraries’ entrances.

Nota: Boeke waarvan die vervaldatum reeds verstreke is, of wat reeds deur iemand anders bespreek is, kan nie aanlyn hernu word nie. Indien die vervaldatum reeds verstryk het, vra vir 'n hernuwing by enige biblioteek.

Vra vir 'n hernuwing

Hernuwings kan by enige van die biblioteke aangevra word deur van een van die volgende metodes gebruik te maak:

Maksimum hernuwingsperiode

Biblioteekmateriaal mag twee keer hernu word, tensy dit reeds deur 'n ander kliënt bespreek is en solank dit binne die maksimum hernuwingsperiode is. Sodra die maksimum hernuwingsperiode bereik is, moet die items na die biblioteek terugbesorg word.

Terugbesorging

In persoon, doen navraag by Kliëntediens in die Universiteit Stellenbosch Biblioteek of die uitleentoonbank van enige van die takbiblioteke.
