Registered masters and doctoral students and staff of Stellenbosch University have walk-in access to other South African university libraries provided that they have a letter of introduction from their home library.

See provisions in the Memorandum of Understanding of the Committee for Higher Education Librarians of South Africa (CHELSA).

To request a letter of introduction complete the application form and send it by email to one of the following email addresses:


*Please apply at least one week before your planned visit to the host library.

Geregistreerde magister- en doktorale studente en personeel van die Universiteit Stellenbosch het instaptoegang tot ander Suid-Afrikaanse universiteitsbiblioteke mits hulle 'n voorstellingsbrief van hulle tuisbiblioteek het.

Sien voorwaardes in die Memorandum of Understanding van die Committee for Higher Education Librarians of South Africa (CHELSA).

Om aansoek te doen vir 'n voorstellingsbrief voltooi die aansoekvorm en stuur per e-pos aan een van die volgende e-posadresse:


*Doen ten minste 'n week voor die beplande biblioteekbesoek aansoek.
