Training

Request a training session in the use of library resources;   

  • Hands-on training sessions in finding literature on a specific topic.

  • Training in the use of specific information tools such as Marketline and RefWorks.

To avoid disappointment, lecturers and researchers at the Bellville Park Campus are encouraged
to make appointments for assistance or library instruction.

Literature searching 

Assistance is provided with literature searching on a specific topics.

Lending privileges

All lecturers and researchers of SU are automatically members of all libraries of SU Library and Information service.

Physical access to these libraries and lending privileages are allowed by means of a SU staff identity card. 

Audiovisual resources

DVDs and CDs are available in a working collection for lecturers.

Interlibrary loans 

An interlibrary loan service is available to lecturers and researchers. Contact Ilse Morrison or Alna Marais.

Recommend new books

Assist the library in building a dynamic collection by recommending new book titles. Send an e-mail to Henriëtte Swart.  

Short loans

Reserve specified material to make these items easily accessible to all students for short periods of time. 

On-campus and off-campus access

Visit the library online from elsewhere on campus and off campus by signing in with a SU

network login code and password.
