Q:  What does the various statuses mean in the catalogue?

A:  The more common status messages are described below:

 

Binders​ The item is in the process of being bound​
​Cataloguing ​The item is being prepared for the shelf
​Lost
​The item is lost/long overdue
Withdrawn​ ​The item is no longer part of the library collection
On Hold​ ​The item has been reserved by another client
​Ordered ​The item has been ordered by the acquisitions sections
​Reshelving ​The item has been returned to the library and is awaiting shelving
​Restricted
​The item is only available for use inside the library
​Searching ​Library staff is searching for a missing item
​Unrestricted ​The item is available on loan to all client categories
​Due date The item has already been borrowed and is due on that specific date. The item may be requested​
