Successful outcomes of the Stellenbosch University’s Hope Project, the contemporary Learning and Research Commons’ in the JS Gericke Library, exemplify 21st century transformed library services. Here hi-tech combines with rich information resources and skills support in a vibrant, inspiring space putting students in the fast track to achieving success.  These students are the informed, competent, responsible citizens of the future, who will find solutions for the continent’s problems, inspire and create hope.

Both the Learning and Research Commons in the JS Gericke Library will be open during the lunch hour on Friday the 13th of April for any one interested to browse the areas and meet the staff and the Smart Maties who provide services in these superb areas.
